Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Day Support Activities (DSA) program. This role focuses on supporting individuals in community-based environments, helping them build skills, gain independence, and actively engage in their local community. No experience required — paid training provided!

This role focuses on supporting individuals in community-based environments, helping them build skills, gain independence, and actively engage in their local community. Key Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:
- Provide individualized, person-centered support in community environments
- Support participation in activities such as recreation and local outings
- Promote social interaction, inclusion, and positive peer relationships
- Facilitate and adapt engaging, skill-building activities based on individual interests and goals
- Maintain documentation and follow individualized support plans (training provided)
- Collaborate with team members to create meaningful, person-centered experiences
- Assist with personal care needs as needed while maintaining dignity and respect
- Ensure safety in a variety of community settings
- Experience in caregiving, human services, or community-based support is a plus—but not required
- Comfortable working in varied community environments rather than a single site
- Strong engagement skills and ability to adapt to different settings
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support
