Position Summary:
As a Part-Time Job Coach, you will provide one-on-one workplace support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role is to assist them in achieving independence and success in their employment. You’ll collaborate with clients, their employers, and the CAS team to foster skill development, address challenges, and ensure a positive and productive work environment.

You’ll collaborate with clients, their employers, and the CAS team to foster skill development, address challenges, and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized on-the-job support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring they succeed in their job tasks.
- Assist with skill-building, time management, and problem-solving to promote independence and confidence in the workplace.
- Communicate regularly with employers to build positive relationships and address workplace needs or accommodations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support plans, progress, and outcomes.
- Facilitate transportation and support access to workplace settings, as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving, social work, or a related field is preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to advocating for individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to become a company driver.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Capable of performing physical tasks required for the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- This is a part-time position with shifts that include evenings and/or weekends. CAS strives to create schedules that meet both the needs of our staff and the individuals we support.
