Join our dedicated team at Community Access Services as a Community Living Program Manager and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this leadership role, you will provide guidance and support to Direct Support Professionals, ensuring individuals receive compassionate care that promotes independence, relationship-building, and community involvement. Your expertise will help foster a positive team environment and facilitate meaningful connections within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate positively with staff, supervisors, and individuals, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Model professional conduct and maintain ongoing communication with the Program Director.
  • Coordinate training and development for Direct Support Professionals, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Develop relationships with state and county personnel, community professionals, and families.
  • Foster a team environment, encouraging open communication and problem-solving.
  • Oversee safety protocols and ensure a safe, healthy environment for both staff and individuals served.
  • Be available to assist staff and adapt to changes within the program.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or have 3 years of experience working with persons with IDD, including a minimum of 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and the ability to become an approved company driver.
  • Must be able to pass a background check 
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
