Position Summary:
As a Program Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a 24/7 group home, ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). You will supervise staff, manage program compliance, and foster an environment that promotes independence, inclusion, and personal growth for the individuals we serve. This role requires a balance of leadership, hands-on support, and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure program operations align with CAS’s mission, vision, and values while meeting the needs of individuals served
  • Train and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to maintain a high-performing, supportive team environment.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Provide leadership in managing emergencies and resolving conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Participate in and facilitate team training and professional growth opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between CAS leadership, staff, families, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support and service delivery.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, including a minimum of one year in a managerial role, is required.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to advocating for individuals with disabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to become a company driver.
  • Ability to pass a background check 
  • Capable of performing physical tasks required for the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Schedule:
  • This is a full-time position in a 24/7 group home setting with shifts that may include evenings and/or weekends. CAS strives to create schedules that meet both the needs of our staff and the individuals we support.
