Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) – Full-Time
Location: Columbia County Pay: $25.75 per hour (DOE) + $2,000 Hiring Bonus

Community Access Services is hiring an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across multiple residential programs.
As an AR DSP, you will be assigned where coverage is needed most across our programs. This role requires flexibility to work at different locations and adjust to varying support environments.

What Does an Area Relief Direct Support Professional Do?
As an Area Relief Direct Support Professional, you'll help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible while building meaningful relationships.
Responsibilities include:
Building positive, supportive relationships with individuals served
Assisting with daily living activities such as cooking, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks
Supporting community outings, appointments, recreation, and personal goals
Encouraging independence, confidence, and skill development
Administering medications and completing documentation accurately
Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
Advocating for the choices, dignity, and well-being of the people you support

Qualifications
Experience in a direct care role and working with individuals with disabilities required
Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements to become a company driver
Ability to pass a national background check
Strong reliability and willingness to work across multiple locations as needed
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs
