Community Access Services is currently seeking a Job Coach in The Dalles, OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based employment settings.
As a Job Coach, you will work one-on-one with individuals at their job sites, providing hands-on training, support, and encouragement to help them build skills, maintain employment, and grow their independence. What You’ll Do as a Job Coach:
- Provide individualized support to individuals at their workplaces
- Assist with learning and performing job tasks and daily work routines
- Encourage independence, confidence, and professionalism on the job
- Support communication and positive interactions with coworkers and supervisors
- Help individuals build workplace skills such as organization, time management, and problem-solving
- Maintain accurate documentation related to support and progress
- Promote safe, inclusive, and respectful work environments
- Serve as a positive role model and advocate for individual needs and preferences
What We’re Looking for in a Job Coach:
- Experience in direct support, caregiving, coaching, or human services is a plus, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist as needed
- Competitive Pay: $21.50–$22.50/hour (based on experience)
